Announcements

New counselor assignments

Due to decreasing enrollment numbers, Mountain View will have only four counselors next year. This shifts the alphabet split significantly, with about one third of students getting a new counselor. These changes begin immediately, so please make sure to check the list and find out who your new counselor is. If you need anything over the summer, this is the person you should contact (based on your last name).Counselors will be checking emails periodically throughout the summer, but will not be working regular hours in the office. We will return to our regular hours on August 3, 2026.

New Skyward System for 26-27

The district is moving to a new, upgraded Skyward system! The new system (called Skyward Qmlativ, or "Q") is designed to be more user-friendly, with an improved visual design.
All students and parents will need to delete and reinstall the Skyward app after July 27. Parents will also need to complete the Student Information Update on the Qmlative system before school starts in order for their students to have access to any school technology (Chromebook, school email, etc.).

The transition between old and new Skyward systems will take time. We appreciate your patience as we navigate this change!

Office Closures

As part of the transition to Q, we have to close some systems temporarily during the summer. This will affect our services, as you’ll see below:

 Counseling Office Hours
The office will be open to parents/students for reduced hours (8:00a-12:00p) every weekday from May 26th to June 26th. We will be completely closed during July. The office will reopen on August 3 for the new school year.

 New Student Enrollment, Out-of-Boundary Requests, etc.
All enrollment requests for the 26-27 school year MUST be submitted by June 26. After that date, we will not be able to process any additional requests until August.

 Transcript Requests
We will process all transcript requests received between May 26th and June 26th. Anyone needing a transcript can request one using this online form. We will be unable to process any transcript requests during the month of July.

 Driver Education
During the summer, no charter school or homeschool students can enroll in Mountain View’s Drivers Ed class. The earliest available class for these students will be September.

Mountain View is a proud partner of UVU's GEAR UP program. This program is designed to help low-income and under-served students become better prepared for future education. Their services include:​
